Rose Shenson Exhibit News

Here are the attendance numbers for our Exhibit at the Rose Shenson Gallery, September 4 thru October 3, 2010. We had a total of 199 visit the Gallery, 90 of whom attended our reception on September 11. Sorry if any of you missed visiting this exhibit. It was excellent! The lucky winners of the three beautiful Bud Hunziker watercolors were all from San Jose: Gail Dance, May Jones, and Brad Santos. Congratulations to all of them! FYI, Janice had nothing to do with Drawing Brad’s name (other than praying).

Sandra Jones will demonstrate pastel painting at the October 23, 2010 meeting

Our demonstrator is Sandra Jones. Sandra will discuss the materials and technique used when creating a pastel painting from a photographic reference.

If you’re a pastel artist, you won’t want to miss this meeting. And if you’re not, it will be a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn about another medium you may want to try.

Many, many thanks to Dale Craddock and her crew for putting together the Rose Shenson show. It was a beautiful show and a great success. We’ll announce the winner(s) of the Community Award at the October meeting.
