Guidelines for the Rose Shenson Show, September 4 – October 3, 2010

We will be communicating by e-mail for much of our organization of the up-coming Art Exhibit @ the Rose Shenson (which is on the grounds of the Triton Museum, 1505 Warburton Avenue in Santa Clara)

1. The important dates: drop = 8-28-10 * 11:15-12:30, show opens = 9-4-10 * 12:00-4:00 PM, show closes & pick-up 10-3-10.

2. We will also have an Artists’ Reception on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 1:30-3:30. (Each Artists is responsible for a plated finger food [sweet or savory] to be served during the reception.) That last day we will be open from 12-4 just like the other Saturdays & Sundays of September, but you need to retrieve your paintings during the last twenty minutes.

3. Each Artist is expected to serve as a gallery monitor along with one other Artist. The dates to be covered are all open; so first responder gets their choice. We will be covering each Saturday & Sunday of September plus our final date Sunday, October 3, 2010. You will open the gallery @ noon & close @ 4:00 PM.

4. Along with your choice of monitor date, I need the following information about each of your entries: TITLE, MEDIUM, FRAMED SIZE, PRICE & PHONE # to appear on the ID card for the wall. Deadline for this information is August 15, 2010.

5. I know several of you are first time participants & may need to have questions answered; so feel free to either e-mail or phone me, because we will not be meeting as a group until after our drop.

Ann Roush, Exhibiting at Corinthian House Senior Residence

We are very pleased to have artist, Ann Roush, exhibiting at Corinthian House Senior Residence from June 30 through August 30, 2010. She works in several mediums, beautiful examples of which may be viewed at her show every Monday through Friday from 9:00 am till 4:00 pm in the Dining Room at Corinthian House, 250 Budd Avenue, Campbell, CA. A reception is planned for Saturday, August 14, 2010, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Dining Room.

New Corinthian House Exhibit

We have a new exhibitor at Corinthian House: Judith Peterson’s beautiful work. She does mostly portraits and they are magnificent! Her show began April 7th and will continue thru mid-June. There will be a reception on Saturday, May 29, from 2:00 to 4:00.

When I say “we” I mean CAG. We are most fortunate in being able to have members of our group and others show art works at Corinthian House year-round. To show our appreciation for Corinthian House allowing us to have these shows I urge everyone in CAG to attend the reception on May 29. If you are unable to attend the reception, you can still support the efforts of Carolyn, Connie, Dale, La Verne and Marian in obtaining new artists for these shows by going to view the exhibits any Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Corinthian House is located at 250 Budd Avenue, Campbell.

Egnalya Exhibits in San Jose, CA
