Cathy has been painting in oil for the past seven years with a specialty in commissioned pet portraits. Working from her home-based studio, she also loves to paint seascapes and landscapes. After retiring from the Emergency Medicine field, she found comfort and solace in painting.
Cathy’s interest in art continues to grow and she believes learning from other professionals is important. Her quote, “If you feel you know everything there is to know about painting, then it is time to leave that profession.” She has just completed her presidency in a woman’s organization called ToKalon.
Cathy is married with three grown children, six grandchildren, one adorable great-grandchild, two Yorkies, one cat, and a beautiful yard, all which she adores.
