September’s speaker will be Dick Zunkel. He will be discussing the attributes of what makes a good painting.

We had some juggling to do as far as our demonstrator goes. We are now indebted to Dick Zunkel. At the last minute, our scheduled guest discovered a conflict in scheduling when he found that he needed to be in Los Angeles on that date. Dick has exhibited with dozens of artists nationally and in numerous local galleries. As you know, Dick is the man that stepped forward after the passing of Doug Wright. He volunteers his time at the Cypress Community Center coaching and encouraging both new and experienced artists. Dick works primarily in watercolor. His work can be seen on San Francisco’s online gallery, Artslant.com.

DATE: September 24th , 2011

PLACE: First Congregational Church of San Jose., 1980 Hamilton Ave., San Jose, Ca. 95125. Guests are welcome. We will require a $2 donation toward room rental. Please bring correct change. Refreshments will be provided.
